Canopy for the MotionProtect Outdoor detector that protects the sensors of the anti-masking system from rain and snow.
In addition to intruders, snow could also interfere with the proper functioning of the detector. It can attach itself to anti-masking sensors, block their field of vision and cause a false alarm. Hood ensures that this does not happen to MotionProtect Outdoor during a snowfall.
Anti-masking sensors react to spray paint. But prolonged exposure to heavy rain could create interference. Hood makes sure this doesn't happen to MotionProtect Outdoor during a storm, avoiding any disruption related to false alarms.
The canopy can be installed on MotionProtect Outdoor without having to disassemble the detector from the bracket. This accessory is supplied with everything necessary for its installation.
